Man Won

Derek got his first ManWon last night! :)

LOL.... We had a great dinner with my friend Mike. We used to work at a hagwon in Korea together. Mike, his wife and little girl have just returned to Canada to get settled, and we're just on our way out. It was very nice to meet up with them before we left. :)

Derek is very proud to have is first real Korean money! :):) Now, we just need to get him over to Korea to spend it. Oh, and just for clarification, manwon is 10,000 Korean Won. The website XE.com tells us that today 10,000 KRW is the equivalent of about $9.18 CAD. :)

Oh, and just an update... the interview went well, and my visa is on it's way! :)
